The Texas Hill Country has landed a new resource to assist budding entrepreneurs and startup businesses wishing to open up shop in the area. The “Hill Country Pitch Day”, sponsored by Texas Business Buyers and in cooperation with the Kerrville and Fredericksburg Chambers of Commerce and the Kerrville Economic Development Corporation, hopes to attract a variety of entrepreneurs, startups, and current business owners to pitch new business ideas and expansion plans to a group of local millionaire investors and VIP representatives from Kerrville and Fredericksburg.
The event is geared toward cultivating growth and development for the area’s economy. The primary goal is to promote entrepreneurship and connect investment and community resources to area entrepreneurs.
“I’ve previously started two companies with the help of angel investment and have navigated the economic development process as an entrepreneur. Because of that, I constantly get people asking me how to begin to raise capital and bring their dreams to life. Our region is business friendly and has tons of wealth and wisdom. All the right ingredients are here. It’s time to get us all in a room and kick start some new projects together. I hope this becomes a regular event,” says Clint Fiore, President of Texas Business Buyers, who initiated this event.
The event is designed to attract entrepreneurs and small business owners in the tech, craft agriculture, light manufacturing, housing development, and tourism related industries to come make their pitch, and get the resources they need to make their dreams a reality.
The event organizer, Brady Nix, is accepting applications from teams who want to present their pitches.
Initial submissions must be submitted for review by Oct. 13, 2017, to be considered for one of the available spots. The event will be held on November 17, 2017, at Kerrville Hills Winery. Networking and hors d’oeuvres will start at 6:00, with doors closing and pitches starting promptly at 6:30 pm and concluding by 8:30 pm, with optional wine and music to enjoy afterward.
The event is open to the public and free of charge. VIP Reserved seating available for accredited investors and media. Please direct questions to email@example.com or visit facebook.com/texasbusinessbuyers
